Lam Dong province is advancing digital transformation in culture and tourism by digitizing library and museum resources and building smart tourism systems. This aims to foster the cultural industry and enhance state management efficiency.

Lam Dong province, located in Vietnam's Central Highlands, is actively advancing digital transformation in its culture and tourism sectors. This initiative aligns with Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on accelerating scientific and technological development, innovation, and national digital transformation, implemented in consideration of the province's local characteristics. Currently, the Lam Dong Provincial Library has digitized 330 records, comprising over 77,600 pages of documents related to local history, culture, and heritage. The Provincial Museum has updated more than 300 artifacts into its management and statistical software for a digitalization project, covering nearly 12,000 items. QR code systems and automated explanations have been deployed at numerous museums and historical sites. Furthermore, the province's smart tourism system has updated data for thousands of accommodation facilities, tourist attractions, shopping spots, and services. It has also completed the digitization of 18 destinations on an interactive 3D/360-degree tourism map platform. Moving forward, the province's culture and tourism sector will prioritize the digitization of key areas such as museums, libraries, historical-cultural sites, scenic spots, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, and data related to sports and tourism. The aim is to foster the development of the cultural industry and smart tourism, thereby enhancing the efficiency of state management. These two points will showcase nearly 100 representative and characteristic products of Da Nang city. The product catalog includes local specialties, OCOP products rated 3 stars and above, typical rural industrial products, food and beverages, handicrafts, medicinal herbs, natural cosmetics, souvenirs, fashion items, and other unique products. Gia Lai Ensures Fuel Supply Since early July, the domestic gasoline and oil market has shown signs of cautious selling, particularly for diesel fuel, affecting supply for consumption and business operations. In Gia Lai, supply from major enterprises continues to show growth. Petrolimex Gia Lai Company Limited has sold 31,547 m³, a 25% increase compared to the same period last year and a 10% increase from June 2026. The Army Petroleum Branch has sold 4,747 m³, a 33.5% increase from the previous month. Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Pham Anh Tuan, has requested fuel trading entities (Petrolimex, PVOIL, Army Petroleum) to work with their upstream units to ensure timely supply according to plans and signed contracts, especially for key projects in the province. Additionally, these entities must report supply situations accurately and promptly report any issues to the Department of Industry and Trade for consultation with the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to ensure market balance. The Department of Industry and Trade will monitor the market closely and implement management measures to stabilize the fuel market. It will review all wholesale distributors, retail merchants, and gasoline/oil retail outlets, requiring them to fulfill their local tax obligations. The plan aims to attract investment from enterprises in fields such as software and digital platforms, AI and digital data, IoT and automation, data centers, and technologies for industry, logistics, and smart agriculture by 2030. Additionally, the province will conduct at least one licensing activity and controlled testing of products and services applying digital technology, in line with the practical development conditions of the digital technology industry.
