China Hinted at Arresting Filipinos If Chinese Workers Not Freed: PAOCC
The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) revealed that the Chinese Embassy in Manila threatened the arrest of Filipinos in China if 69 Chinese workers apprehended in Misamis Oriental were not released. Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. condemned this as "extortion and blackmail."
