Myanmar citizens residing in Japan must submit copies of National Registration Card and Household List for consular services

It has been announced by the Embassy of Myanmar in Tokyo on September 24 that Myanmar citizens residing and working in Japan must submit copies of their National Registration Card and Household List when carrying out consular matters. It is said that consular matters for Myanmar citizens are being accepted either in person or by mail. It is stated in the announcement that applications sent by mail will be considered incomplete if copies of the National Registration Card and Household List are not submitted together. The announcement states that such incomplete applications will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant. It is also known that there are currently over 100,000 Myanmar workers residing and working in Japan.
