Kampong Thom Gendarmerie Launches Military Duty Training

The Kampong Thom Provincial Gendarmerie Command on September 17, 2026, organized an opening ceremony for a specialized training course on the execution of military duties for officers and non-commissioned officers of the provincial gendarmerie. The training course was presided over by Brigadier General Meas Yot, Commander of the Kampong Thom Provincial Gendarmerie, with the participation of the Deputy Commander, heads of departments, and commanders of the gendarmerie units in all nine districts and municipalities, along with numerous participating officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers. Brigadier General Meas Yot stated that the opening of this specialized training course on the execution of military duties for officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Kampong Thom gendarmerie is of great importance to the process of implementing expertise and legal procedures regarding military duties. The Commander further instructed all participating officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers to diligently study and learn from the instructors, who have received specialized training from the National Gendarmerie Command. Therefore, all participants must utilize this knowledge and expertise to effectively perform their duties and implement military laws in the future, in accordance with the regulations set by the Royal Government.
