Northern Vietnam Braces for Week-Long Heavy Rainfall, Flood and Landslide Risks High

Northern Vietnam is forecast to experience continuous rainfall for the next week due to a persistent low-pressure trough. Heavy downpours, increasing in scope and intensity from August 4-7, raise the risk of flash floods and landslides. Central and southern regions will also see increased rainfall as the southwest monsoon strengthens.
