MinebeaMitsumi to Expand Investment in Cambodia, Meets with Prime Minister Hun Manet

On the morning of July 28, 2026, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Mahabovor Theodoreat Hun Manet, received Mr. Yoshihisa Kainuma, Executive Officer of MinebeaMitsumi Inc., and his colleagues for a courtesy call and working discussion at the Peace Palace. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the company's business progress, the plan for launching a new factory in Cambodia, and further plans for investment expansion in the country. The company is also scheduled to celebrate its 15th anniversary of business operations in Cambodia in December. He affirmed that the Royal Government will continue to provide support, ensure a favorable environment for investors, and maintain a resilient and highly competitive investment climate. The Prime Minister also highlighted the implementation of policies and necessary mechanisms to facilitate business and investment in Cambodia, including the reform of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), promoting and supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to become stronger, and providing incentives through tax exemptions for sectors with potential and strategic importance to Cambodia.
