Cambodia to Expedite National ID Issuance Amidst Security Push

A senior official from Cambodia's Ministry of Interior has instructed to expedite the issuance of national identification cards (Khmer nationality identification cards) to citizens. This initiative, part of the 'Safe Village-Commune-District' policy, aims to strengthen identity verification and public security, particularly for returning migrant workers and those repatriated from abroad.
