Cambodia: Appellate Court Denies Bail for Former Candlelight Party Official on Treason Charges
The Phnom Penh Court of Appeal has rejected a request for temporary release from detention for Ratan Sothy, a former official of the Candlelight Party. He is charged with "conspiracy to commit treason" for allegedly inciting against government leaders on social media.
