Massive Drug Busts in Phuket and Mekong River, Over 10 Million Meth Pills Seized

Major drug crackdowns in Thailand's southern Phuket island and the Mekong River area in northern Chiang Rai province have resulted in significant seizures. In Phuket, approximately 1kg of crystal meth and 400 ecstasy pills were found on a man traveling by bus. Meanwhile, in Chiang Rai, nearly 10 million methamphetamine pills were confiscated from the Mekong River bank.
