Heineken Vietnam Hosts Supplier Tours at Da Nang Brewery
Heineken Vietnam hosted tours for its business partners at its Da Nang brewery in July, showcasing its automated production lines and quality control systems to strengthen collaboration. The company highlighted its contributions to the Vietnamese economy.
In July, Heineken Vietnam organized factory tours for its business partners to introduce its production processes, operational technologies, and quality control systems. The Heineken Vietnam brewery in Da Nang, located in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, is one of five factories nationwide and is responsible for supplying products to the Central region market. During the July tours, business partners had the opportunity to directly observe the fully automated, closed production line, from brewing and fermentation to quality control, all adhering strictly to global Heineken standards. A highlight was witnessing the factory's latest modern canning line with a capacity of 130,000 cans per hour. According to company representatives, these tours provide partners with a more visual perspective on the production process and a clearer understanding of the quality standards applied to products distributed in the market. Tran Anh Dung, owner of a restaurant in Hue City, expressed his impression of the factory's modern scale, from the digital-controlled central system and rigorous checks at each stage to the robotic system for arranging products into batches, all operated professionally. Tran Nguyen Chan Tin, owner of a beer business in Hue, stated that directly touring the production line of the beers he distributes helped him understand Heineken's operational standards. "I've only drunk beer for a long time, but now I understand how beer is produced. The closed, automated, and modern production line is truly impressive," Tin said. Pham Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Sales Manager for Hue-Quang Tri-Quang Binh region, affirmed that the practical experiences at the factory have strengthened the bond between Heineken Vietnam and its business partners. "The factory tour not only helps partners better understand the production process and quality commitment but also creates opportunities for dialogue and enhanced cooperation between the two sides," Nhan added. Beyond experiential activities, the program also serves as an opportunity for Heineken Vietnam to meet and exchange with business partners in the Central region, listen to their feedback, and share future development directions. Alongside investing in upgrading production capacity at the Da Nang plant over the years, Heineken Vietnam implements various solutions to support partners' business activities, including market updates, management policies, tax policies, and developing digital platforms for ordering, order management, and inventory. The company continuously invests in expanding and upgrading the Da Nang brewery, thereby enhancing production and supply capacity for the region. It also organizes numerous commercial activities, spreading development values, aiming for the common development of the country and its people. Heineken Vietnam's spirit of connection and shared development is realized through fostering a network of partners, from large and small enterprises to suppliers and domestic partners. Nationwide, Heineken Vietnam's operations contribute to creating approximately 167,000 job opportunities, contributing about 0.5% to GDP, and allocating nearly VND 22 trillion for domestic procurement, accounting for 82% of total procurement value, thereby promoting the development of the domestic business ecosystem. The company views this as a foundation for continued partnership and contribution to Vietnam's business ecosystem development.
