Former Director of Binh Thuan Education Department Sentenced to 15 Years for Bribery
A court in Vietnam's Lam Dong province has sentenced Phan Doan Thai, former director of the Binh Thuan Department of Education and Training, to 15 years in prison for accepting bribes totaling 2.4 billion VND (approximately $100,000 USD). He was found guilty of facilitating AIC Company's winning bids for three educational equipment procurement projects.
