AI Summary

Nestlé Vietnam has introduced QR codes on its NAN Infinipro A2 Step 3 milk cans, allowing parents to easily access detailed product information such as manufacturing dates, ingredients, and factory details. This initiative addresses information overload by providing reliable, verifiable data, thereby enhancing parental trust in the product.

Amidst the deluge of information regarding infant nutrition products in Vietnam, parents increasingly seek clear, reliable data, including transparency about product origins, quality, and market credibility. However, many sources provide incomplete information, leaving parents wanting. To address this, Nestlé has implemented unique QR codes on its NAN Infinipro A2 Step 3 milk cans. A single scan allows parents to access detailed product information beyond what's visible on the can, including manufacturing dates, expiry dates, batch numbers, product codes, country of origin, and factory details, all accessible via their smartphones. The system also displays authentication status and shelf life, enabling consumers to quickly verify products before selection. The QR codes also unlock access to additional information parents care about, such as product announcement certificates confirmed by the Department of Health, national technical regulations, FSSC 22000 food safety system certifications, and ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certifications. Nestlé promoted the use of QR codes through a "Mothers Pioneer Quality Verification Journey" event held in Ho Chi Minh City from September 12-13. The event offered parents insights into the entire process behind each milk can, from research history and raw materials to production processes. Participating parents expressed that the QR code scanning empowers them to actively seek information, verify origins, and cross-reference with packaging, leading to greater peace of mind. Nestlé states that information transparency empowers consumers and builds trust through verifiable data.
