Phnom Penh Authorities Remove Illegally Placed Signboards on Public Sidewalks

Phnom Penh's Sen Sok District administration is continuing its efforts to remove signboards that illegally occupy public spaces. On September 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM, along Nut Bridge Road in Troup Moan Village, Ou Orbeak Korm Commune, this measure was implemented to improve the city's aesthetics and ensure the safe passage of citizens. The authorities removed a total of six signboards that were illegally encroaching on public sidewalks and road easements and entered into contracts with the owners of the violating locations. This initiative is being carried out to maintain public order and aesthetics, as well as to facilitate the smooth and safe travel of the public.
