Cambodia Accelerates Border Region Development with Progress on Ring Road Construction Funded by Infrastructure Fund

Cambodia is advancing the construction of a ring road along its borders, utilizing funds from its Border Infrastructure Development Fund. As of August 13, 2026, approximately 98.87% of the planned 264.40 kilometers of road in Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri provinces have been completed since December 2024. The project aims to boost regional economic activity and improve logistics.
