It is expected to rise by about half a foot within the next day and continue to remain above the warning level for Hpa-an Township. Therefore, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a warning urging residents living near the riverbanks and in low-lying areas within Hpa-an Township to evacuate to safe locations away from flood risks.
