Recognizing the emerging challenges posed by quantum computing, the nation is urgently transitioning to post-quantum cryptography to safeguard digital trust and promote economic growth. Digital signatures and trusted services form the bedrock of security and reliability in electronic transactions. These technologies play a crucial role in protecting personal and confidential information, preventing unauthorized access, and facilitating smooth online commerce and government services. The Vietnamese government is actively promoting their adoption, providing guidance on generating digital signatures through the VNeID application and releasing results from quality assessments of public digital signature certification services. Quantum computing poses a significant threat to the security of the digital economy by potentially breaking current cryptographic standards. To counter this, Vietnam faces the imperative of migrating to post-quantum cryptography technologies at an early stage. This transition is vital for protecting its digital infrastructure against future cyberattacks and maintaining public confidence in digital systems, a critical step in building a 'digital society,' 'digital government,' and 'digital economy.'
