Central Jakarta Sees Large Demonstration, Over 4,000 Personnel Deployed for Security

Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Erlyn Sumantri, said the rally would be held by the Banten Bangkit Activists Coalition and several other mass elements. "Security for the demonstration of the People's Struggle Assembly Alliance (Gabungan BEM UNJ, BEM Univ Trilogi, BEM Institut STIAMI, BEM Univ Paramadina) in the Monas area, with plans to be active at 13.00 WIB," said Erlyn in a written statement, Friday.
