The Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport has launched an internship program for its students for the 2025-2026 academic year. On the afternoon of July 20, 2026, the institute showcased the activities of this program, which takes place during the semester break. The program is designed to guide, train, and enhance students' capabilities, enabling them to gain practical work experience before entering the actual job market. A total of 95 students are participating in this internship, assigned to various locations including General Departments, Public Works and Transport Departments of provinces and capitals, autonomous ports, various departments under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and numerous private companies. The institute stated that this internship program was organized with the attention and support of the ministry's and the institute's leadership. Its objective is to guide and train students, fostering their confidence and allowing them to apply their skills in real-world work environments. Close collaboration between officials, staff, and institutions under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has ensured the smooth and effective organization of this year's internship. Notably, based on the long-term vision of the ministry and institute leadership, students begin their internships as early as their second year during the holiday period. This aims to strengthen their professional skills and help them adapt more easily to practical work after graduation. This activity is considered a crucial part of developing quality human resources for the public works and transport sector, as well as contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of the nation.
