Southern Vietnam's Local Security Forces Compete in Regional Drills
17 southern provinces and cities in Vietnam participated in a competition for local security forces, aiming to enhance their professional skills and community engagement for better public order.
A competition for forces participating in maintaining local security and order was held in southern Vietnam. On July 29, the first "Excellent Competition for Regional Security and Order Protection Forces" for the southern region took place with the participation of 17 teams. The main objective of this competition is to enhance the professional skills and operational capabilities of the participating forces, as well as to strengthen their community-oriented approach and close engagement with local residents. This type of competition is seen as an opportunity to improve the effectiveness of local security maintenance activities. Similar competitions have been held in the northern region previously, with the Hanoi team, for example, winning the top prize in the northern regional competition. Under Vietnam's one-party system, maintaining social stability is a high priority, and the role of local security forces is significant. While the country continues to experience economic growth, social stability is considered an essential element for maintaining an attractive investment environment and improving the lives of its citizens. This competition can be viewed as part of efforts to strengthen this social foundation.
