A tragic accident occurred on July 11th when a tourist boat capsized off the coast of Phu Quoc Island, a well-known resort destination in southern Vietnam. Approximately 100 meters from Hon Mai Rut Ngoai, the boat suddenly overturned, throwing all passengers and crew into the sea. Following the accident, rescue operations were conducted, and 19 individuals were transported to hospitals for medical attention. Among those rescued were 4 Vietnamese nationals (3 males, 1 female) and 15 foreign nationals (13 males, 2 females). The tourist boat was operated by Minh Huy PQ Tourism Co., Ltd., a company engaged in tourism services on Phu Quoc Island. The company's representative is Mr. Diep Nguyen Quoc (born 1970). Currently, the Phu Quoc Island Police and An Giang Provincial Police are jointly investigating the cause of the accident.
