Precision Concept Key to Increased Public Trust in Indonesian National Police

"Precision" is an acronym derived from the Indonesian words Precisely, Responsible, Integritas, Transparansi, Akuntabilitas, dan Inovatif, serta berorientasi pada Keadilan (Precise, Responsible, Integrity, Transparency, Accountability, and Innovative, as well as justice-oriented). The concept aims for more data-driven decision-making and prompt, accurate responses to public needs in the provision of police services. Legal experts analyze that the introduction of this concept plays a significant role in dispelling the public distrust towards the police, which has been pointed out in the past, and transforming it into a more democratic and open organization for the public. It is particularly evaluated as a concrete effort to meet public expectations in aspects such as corruption prevention and fairness in law enforcement. This move towards increased trust is considered to contribute to the strengthening of the rule of law in Indonesia and the sound development of democratic processes.
