Vietnam's Border Trade Reaches $45.3 Million During National Day Holiday
During Vietnam's National Day holiday, the Lao Cai International Border Gate saw a total trade value of $45.3 million, with 171 businesses and individuals filing 1,702 declarations. Exports reached $31.9 million and imports $13.4 million, generating 12.26 billion VND in tax revenue.
During the five-day National Day holiday for the founding of the nation (August 29 to September 2), export and import activities at the Lao Cai International Border Gate proceeded stably and smoothly. In this period, 171 businesses and individual traders completed 1,702 declarations through the VNACCS/VCIS system. The total trade turnover reached $45.3 million, with exports accounting for $31.9 million and imports for $13.4 million. A total of 697 vehicles were exported and 1,996 vehicles were imported. Customs authorities strengthened inspection and supervision, collecting 12.26 billion VND in tax revenue.
