Body Wrapped in Cardboard Discovered in Bandung, Suspected Murder Case

A body wrapped in cardboard has been discovered in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, sending shockwaves through the local community. On Tuesday afternoon, a scavenger found a partial body, including a wrist, protruding from a cardboard box on a street in the Babakan Ciparay district. Police were immediately alerted and responded to the scene, with forensic teams launching an investigation. According to Babakan Ciparay Police Chief Kurniawan, the deceased is believed to be a woman in her early 30s. While no significant external injuries were immediately apparent, police suspect it to be a murder case. Investigators are looking into the possibility that a nearby boarding house served as the crime scene and have identified a room within the property for further examination. The boarding house is located approximately a 10-minute drive from where the body was found. The boarding house itself is situated down a narrow alley, featuring a two-story building with single rooms. There are five rooms on the first floor and another five on the second. Daniel, a resident of the boarding house, reported that around 9:30 AM on the day of the incident, an unknown man asked for his help in moving a cardboard box. The man claimed the contents were clothing and iron pipes, and Daniel stated he did not notice any unusual odors. Daniel mentioned that the man said the box was intended to be handed over to an expedition service. Daniel added that he had been living there for two Eid holidays, and the man seemed to have been there longer. Police are actively searching for the man and are working to uncover the full details of the incident.
