CPP Concludes Political Education Course for Cadres and Youth

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) held a closing ceremony on Sunday, July 19, 2026, for its "Level 2, Session 1" political education course for party members and youth cadres from the Ministry of Interior and Rural Development. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Chhay Rithy Sen, a member of the CPP Central Committee and Chairman of the CPP Committee of the Ministry of Interior and Rural Development. The event was attended by approximately 326 participants, including high-ranking officials, permanent committee members, and cadres from the Ministry of Interior and Rural Development. According to H.E. Dr. San Visal, Head of the Secretariat of the CPP Committee of the Ministry of Interior and Rural Development, the two-day training course saw the participation of 277 party members and youth cadres. The training focused on four key topics: (1) National and International Situation, (2) The Value of Peace, (3) Immediate Tasks of CPP Youth Cadres, and (4) The Political Program of the CPP 2023-2028. H.E. Chhay Rithy Sen commended the organizers and instructors for their valuable time and efforts in sharing knowledge and experience, aiming to further enhance the capacities and confidence of party members and youth. He emphasized that the Level II political education course is not just about sharing theoretical knowledge but is a practical endeavor to strengthen political consciousness and professional orientation, responding to new developments both regionally and globally. This aims to ensure a deeper understanding of the party's political program in serving the nation and its people. H.E. Chhay Rithy Sen urged all participants to further study and research the lessons learned from the course to deepen their knowledge, learn from the good examples of previous generations of leaders, and implement them to achieve tangible results in accordance with the party's statutes and internal regulations. He reiterated the principle, "One party member is one vote of support for the party." Furthermore, he requested participants to apply their acquired knowledge by disseminating the party's achievements and contributions to their families and the local community, and to continuously maintain strong internal solidarity and unity, adhering to the slogan "Unity is life, division is death," to preserve and expand the party's winning edge. To conclude the event, H.E. Chhay Rithy Sen presented letters of appreciation to the instructors and awarded certificates of completion to all participants in a joyous and cordial atmosphere.
