Myanmar Authorities Accelerate Citizenship ID Issuance and Biometric Registration in Yangon
The Ministry of Immigration and Population has launched a 100-day project in North Okkalapa Township, Yangon, to issue citizenship ID cards and register residents for UID biometric cards. This initiative aims to digitize administrative services and strengthen national identity management for citizens aged 18 and above.
