Angkor's Bakong Temple Undergoes Restoration of Three Severely Damaged Brick Towers
Restoration work has commenced on three severely damaged brick towers (numbered 12, 13, and 14) at Bakong Temple in Cambodia's Angkor complex. These towers, over 1000 years old, faced collapse due to aging, natural elements, and prolonged lack of maintenance. The restoration is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
