Ride-hailing Driver Dies in Multi-Vehicle Collision in Dong Nai

Around 4 PM on September 9, a traffic accident occurred on Dang Van Tron Street in Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province, when a pickup truck veered into oncoming traffic and collided with two motorcycles. A male ride-hailing (motorcycle taxi) driver was killed instantly after being trapped under the front wheel of the pickup truck. The incident happened as a pickup truck with a Dong Nai license plate was traveling from An Hao Bridge towards Hiep Hoa Bridge. About 100 meters after crossing Buu Hoa Bridge, the vehicle entered the opposing lane and first collided with a 4-seater car. It then struck two motorcycles following the car, resulting in the death of the ride-hailing driver operating one of them. The pickup truck only came to a halt after crashing into the wall of a local resident's house.
