Solar power generation to be implemented by state and region

It is necessary to implement electricity generation projects using solar energy, which is a renewable energy source, in each state and region of our country, said Head of State Min Aung Hlaing. This was stated by the Head of State at the Union Government Body Meeting held on September 15. It is said that in our country, electricity demand remains high, and securing sufficient electricity is extremely important for national development and the improvement of the living standards of the people. Furthermore, the Head of State instructed that due to the extreme rise in temperature caused by El Niño, which could lead to a decrease in groundwater levels and water shortages, water needed for drinking and irrigation should be stored in advance, and if necessary, underground dams should be constructed in rivers and streams to conserve groundwater, and that preparations should be made systematically and thoughtfully from now on for what can be prepared in advance.
