19 18-Year-Old High School Students Join Communist Party in Vietnam, Expanding Party Organization Among Youth

In Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, 19 outstanding students from Tran Bien High School were admitted into the Communist Party of Vietnam on July 3rd, all at the age of 18. These students have just graduated from high school. At the ceremony, a representative from the Tran Bien High School Party cell announced and presented the decision to admit the 19 excellent students. Dinh Sy Hoi, one of the newly admitted party members, shared his honor and pride in joining the party after a period of diligent study and training, and active participation in movements. He expressed his pride in following his family tradition, as both his parents are party members and work in the military. He pledged to continuously strive and set an example in his studies and life to remain worthy of being a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Pham Thi Thanh Ha, Secretary of the Party cell and Principal of Tran Bien High School, affirmed that the 19 students admitted are exemplary in their studies and training over the past three years, and have achieved high results in their high school graduation exams. She stated that becoming a party member while still in school is a great honor but also demands a higher sense of responsibility, marking not an endpoint but the beginning of a long journey of pioneering, exemplary conduct, and continuous effort to become intellectuals who aspire to contribute to building a civilized, modern, and happy Bien Hoa City. Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tam Hiep Ward, noted that the ward's Party Committee always focuses on plans to develop new party members in high schools within its jurisdiction. Tran Bien High School's Party cell is recognized for its many effective approaches in developing student party members. Currently, Bien Hoa City has 114 high schools and schools with high school levels, and 18 vocational education centers and continuing education centers. The Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai Province has seriously implemented the directives from the City Party Committee, Party Committee, and People's Committee regarding the admission of students and young people into the Party. From the beginning of 2026 to the present, schools in the city have developed over 700 young party members, including high school students and youth, bringing the total number of party members in the entire Bien Hoa City Party organization to 135,692.
