PDF attacks and captures police station and checkpoint on Magway-Nay Pyi Taw road

The joint team of Unit (903) and Unit (803) of the Nay Pyi Taw Command attacked the Shwe Pan police station and military checkpoint, located at the border of Nay Pyi Taw and Magway regions on the Magway – Kanpyar – Myothit – Nay Pyi Taw road, at 3 AM today (July 25), and were able to capture the station after 45 minutes of fighting, it is said. It is reported that nine people, including a major, were killed during the attack, while the rest fled with injuries. Among the deceased was a police sergeant who had been oppressing local residents, it is stated. The Nay Pyi Taw Command stated that approximately 30 police and military personnel were stationed jointly at the police station and checkpoint, and a major was in command.
