"Second, I urge them to focus instead on the order, peace, and progress of our nation. Our fellow citizens have long been waiting for their lives to improve," she added. Duterte, who is facing impeachment charges over allegations of culpable violation of the 1987 Constitution, graft and corruption, betrayal of public trust, bribery, and other high crimes, also told Filipinos to not lose hope for the country. "And to my fellow Filipinos, let us not lose hope that change will come to our country. Let us not lose faith in our ability to become a better nation."
