Japanese-Cambodian Medical Team Offers Free Surgery in Prey Veng
A joint Japanese-Cambodian medical team will provide free surgical treatment for hernias and hydroceles in Prey Veng province. The initiative, supported by Japan's 'Japanese Heart Center,' is in collaboration with the provincial Department of Health, Kampong Trabek District Health Office, and Kampong Trabek Referral Hospital.
A joint medical team comprising Cambodian and Japanese medical professionals from the Japanese Heart Center will provide free surgical examinations and treatments to the general public. This initiative is supported by the Department of Health of Prey Veng Province and is carried out in cooperation with the Kampong Trabek District Health Office and Kampong Trabek Referral Hospital. The services will be available for individuals suffering from conditions such as hernias (from 15 years of age and above) and hydroceles (from 15 years of age and above), according to an announcement from the Japanese Heart Center. Interested individuals with the aforementioned conditions can visit for examinations on September 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kampong Trabek Referral Hospital.
