Cambodia Discusses Logistics Improvements with EuroCham, Visits Sihanoukville Port

On July 6, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Logistics Council, H.E. Sun Chanthol, led a meeting with a delegation headed by Mr. Tassilo Brinzer, President of EuroCham. The meeting included representatives from relevant ministries and agencies such as the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS), the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway Company (PPSHV Expressway), and Royal Railway PLC, alongside private sector stakeholders. Active exchanges of opinions took place concerning measures to improve import-export logistics, based on indicators presented by EuroCham. Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol highly commended the proposals and concerns raised by EuroCham, providing guidance for addressing challenges to transform Cambodia into a competitive logistics hub in the region. A representative from PAS reported on the progress of the mobile application "PASNet," developed in 2023. PASNet aims to provide information and facilitate operations for all stakeholders involved in cargo transportation, and its integration with the United Nations' Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) was completed in 2026.
