BAGUIO CITY — The Department of Education (DepEd) Baguio and the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) have launched an investigation into an alleged incident where a 13-year-old Grade 8 student pointed an unserviceable firearm at a classmate at Lucban Integrated School on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The incident, which involved three learners, occurred in the morning, according to school officials. School officials have stated that the safety of the students is their top priority and that they are reviewing safety measures within the school and providing counseling to the students involved. The police are also investigating the background, motive, and origin of the firearm.
