Tropical Depression East of PAR Maintains Course, Rains Expected in Luzon, Visayas

A tropical depression located about 1,735 kilometers east of the Philippines is currently not directly affecting the country. However, easterlies are forecast to bring rain to parts of Luzon and the Visayas. The system is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Saturday night or Sunday morning, where it will be named Francisco and may intensify.
