Kratie Provincial Polytechnic Institute Announces Recruitment of 450 Students for 2026-2027 Academic Year

The Techo Sen I San Provincial Polytechnic Institute in Kratie Province has announced the recruitment of 450 students and members of the public for technical specializations for the 2026-2027 academic year. Located in O'Russei 2 village, Krong Kratie city, the institute offers training in two main categories: Higher Technical Diploma and Technical and Vocational Certificate Level 1. The Higher Technical Diploma program will enroll 120 students across four specializations: electrical network installation and maintenance, computer network programming and installation, hydraulic construction, and air conditioning and heating system technology. These 2-year courses require applicants to possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent. The Technical and Vocational Certificate Level 1 program aims to train 330 students in eleven fields, including building electrical installation, home appliance services, computer services, plumbing installation, masonry, beauty services, motorcycle maintenance and repair, automobile maintenance and repair, electric welding, Khmer cuisine, and men's hairdressing. These 4-month courses are open to young men and women, particularly those from low-income households or vulnerable groups, who will receive a monthly stipend of 280,000 Riel (approximately $70 USD) for the duration of their studies. Graduates from the institute have demonstrated a high employment rate. From 2024 to 2026, a total of 1,428 graduates (including 523 females) have secured employment. These graduates have found positions in partner companies such as Binh Fiec Company, Eastern Rubber Company, New Bluestar Company, and Fire Max Tire, as well as in special economic zones in Bavet, Sihanoukville, and Phnom Penh, earning monthly salaries ranging from $200 to $500 USD. This success underscores the institute's role in contributing to regional economic development and youth employment.
