Indonesian Parliament Urges Audit of $92.5 Billion Padlock Procurement

The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) has demanded an audit of a padlock procurement deal worth approximately IDR 92.5 billion (around $6 million USD) by the Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjenpas) under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Transparency in the use of taxpayer money is being questioned.
