Express vehicle overturns near mile 15 of Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, 22 passengers injured

An express vehicle carrying passengers overturned on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, injuring 22 passengers, according to the Fire Services Department. Near mile marker 15 of the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, an express vehicle carrying passengers overturned at approximately 2:06 PM on September 2nd. In response, firefighters from the Hlegu Township Fire Station and the 11th Mile Expressway Fire Station rushed to the scene with two fire engines to carry out rescue operations. A total of 27 passengers, including 14 males and 13 females, were on board the overturned express vehicle. Among them, 14 males and 8 females, totaling 22 individuals, sustained injuries. The injured individuals were transported to Hlegu Township People's Hospital by Red Cross ambulances.
