CPP Holds IT Training to Strengthen Party Organization

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) has launched a specialized training course aimed at strengthening party organization and improving the efficiency of managing party member and official lists. The training was held in Banteay Meanchey province. On September 23, 2026, the opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Som Soeun, a member of the CPP Central Committee Standing Committee and Chairman of the Organization Committee. His attendance and leadership were based on the principled approval of Mr. Say Chhum, Vice President of the Party, and the request from the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Party Committee. A total of 156 party members and officials from the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Party Committee participated in the training. The curriculum focuses on specialized activities in building party organization and managing party member and official lists using information technology systems. This initiative is part of the CPP's broader strategy to reinforce its organizational foundation and modernize its operations nationwide. The adoption of IT is expected to enhance the speed of the party's decision-making processes, improve information dissemination, and increase the accuracy of member management. The CPP has been in power for many years, and its robust organizational strength forms the basis of its political stability in the country. The IT-focused training is considered a strategic move to adapt to modern technological advancements and further streamline and upgrade the party's organizational management.
