NIA Expands Drought Mitigation Measures Amid Low Reservoir Levels

The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is expanding its drought mitigation measures as water levels in major reservoirs remain below normal. The agency is coordinating with PAGASA and other government bodies to implement strategies like alternate wetting and drying irrigation and rotational water delivery.
