State Administration Council Chairman U Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla leave for Vietnam on official visit

State Administration Council Chairman U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla have departed for Vietnam on an official visit today (September 4), at the invitation of the President and his wife of Vietnam. Myanmar's high-level delegation led by State Administration Council Chairman U Min Aung Hlaing was seen off at the airport by Vice President Daw Nan Nwe Aye, Speaker of the People's Assembly U Khin Ri and his wife, Speaker of the National Assembly U Aung Lin Dway and his wife, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo and his wife, Union Ministers and their wives, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, and officials from the Embassy of Myanmar in Vietnam. State Administration Council Chairman U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla are making a three-day official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from September 4 to 6, at the invitation of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. To Lam, and his wife. During the visit, the State Administration Council Chairman is scheduled to hold discussions with the President of Vietnam, meet with the Prime Minister of Vietnam and the Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, and receive representatives from business organizations. In addition, he is scheduled to attend the Myanmar-Vietnam Economic Forum and visit digital technology and industrial enterprises in Vietnam. During the visit, matters concerning the strengthening of the existing friendly relations between Myanmar and Vietnam, the promotion of cooperation between the governments, parliaments, and peoples of the two countries, and cooperation in economic, cultural, and various sectors will be discussed. Accompanying the State Administration Council Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on this trip are Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yi, U Tin Maung Swe, U Min Naung, Dr. Charlie Than, U Htun Ohn, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Aung Naing Soe, deputy ministers, and responsible officials.
