Northern Vietnam Braces for Cooling Rains as Heatwave Subsides

Northern Vietnam is set to experience a cooling respite as thunderstorms are forecast from the afternoon of June 25th, ending a prolonged heatwave. Central Vietnam, however, will continue to face intense heat. Heavy rainfall, potentially exceeding 130mm in some areas, is expected in the north, raising concerns about urban flooding and landslides in mountainous regions.
