Former Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan Receives 45-Year Party Membership Badge

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam presented a 45-year Party membership badge to former Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan. The ceremony, held on September 8 at the headquarters of the Vietnam Association for Learning Promotion in Hanoi, was organized by the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Central Organizations. It was part of the second batch of Party membership badge awards for 2026. Attendees included Politburo member, Central Secretary, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Central Organizations, Bui Thi Minh Hoai, along with other senior officials. Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Doan, former Central Committee member, former Vice President, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and President of the Vietnam Association for Learning Promotion, was also present. According to the announced decisions, Nguyen Thi Doan received the 45-year Party membership badge. Badges for 35 years of Party membership were awarded to Le Manh Hung (member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Central Organizations, Branch Secretary, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Vietnam Association for Learning Promotion), Nguyen Hong Son (Vice President of the Vietnam Association for Learning Promotion), and Trinh Chau Giang (Deputy Secretary of the Branch, Deputy Head of the Central Office of the Vietnam Association for Learning Promotion). In her speech, Bui Thi Minh Hoai stated that these badges are noble rewards and acknowledgments from the Party for members who have persistently strived, contributed, and sacrificed for the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. She added that receiving the 45 and 35-year badges is a source of pride for the individuals, their families, their respective branches, and the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Central Organizations. Bui Thi Minh Hoai praised Nguyen Thi Doan for her 45 years in the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, during which she consistently excelled in her duties, serving as a shining example of revolutionary moral qualities, dedication to research, contributions to the nation and people, and significant input into the country's overall development. She particularly highlighted Doan's continued dedication to the cause of learning promotion and talent development after fulfilling high-level responsibilities for the Party and State, thereby vigorously advancing the national learning promotion and lifelong learning movements to reach all strata of the population. Emphasizing the contributions of past generations, she urged all cadres and Party members today to constantly self-reflect, self-correct, and cultivate revolutionary morality. She expressed confidence that in the new phase of national development, the branch of the Vietnam Association for Learning Promotion will continue to unite and lead the association to notable achievements, and that the Party members receiving these prestigious badges will continue to contribute their intellect and enthusiasm to the nation's learning promotion cause. Representing the recipients, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Doan expressed her honor and immense pride. She pledged to uphold revolutionary moral qualities, promote the fine traditions of the Communist Party of Vietnam, always be a role model in lifestyle and activities for her descendants and colleagues, and continue contributing to building an increasingly pure and strong Party branch.
