Filipino Unemployment Inches Up to 2.59M in June; Employment Grows
The number of unemployed Filipinos rose slightly to 2.59 million in June from 2.50 million in May, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Despite an increase in employed individuals, the employment rate saw a slight dip, while underemployment also increased.
