Cambodia's CDC Visits Yura Harness Factory, Pledges Support for Investment

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), led by Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, conducted an on-site visit to the factory of Yura Harness (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and held discussions with the company's senior management in Chbar Mon City, Kampong Speu Province. On the morning of Monday, July 27, 2026, in response to an invitation from Mr. Lee Doo Yeun, CEO of Yura Harness (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol led a CDC delegation on a direct visit to the company's factory. Located in Toul Thnot Village, Roka Thom Commune, Chbar Mon City, the factory currently employs approximately 1100 workers. YURA Harness (Cambodia) is a subsidiary of YURA Corporation and began its production line in Cambodia in 2022. Accompanying the Deputy Prime Minister on this factory visit were the Deputy Secretary-General of the CDC Secretariat, members of the Committee for Investment of Cambodia of the CDC, as well as several other leaders and officials from the CDC. This visit was organized with the aim of directly showcasing to the Deputy Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation the overall status of the company's investment operations, workforce development, production capacity, and its future direction for expanding investment scale. This direct visit serves as a testament to the fact that while Cambodia strives to attract new investors, the government continues to pay high attention to and support existing investment projects, aiming to ensure their business operations can continue to develop sustainably and to promote further capital investment in the country. It is worth recalling that on June 18, 2026, during a mission to knock on doors and promote investment in the Republic of Korea, the Deputy Prime Minister also led a high-level Cambodian delegation in a working meeting with Mr. Dae Yeol Ohm, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of YURA Corporation, the parent company of Yura Harness (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.
