Vietnam Accelerates DNA Testing for Fallen Soldiers' Remains

The Air Defence-Air Force of Vietnam has transported over 13,500 samples of fallen soldiers' remains for DNA testing to accelerate their identification. A ceremony was held on September 11, where the samples were handed over to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Military Institute of Forensic Medicine. This initiative is being coordinated with Military Region 7 and the People's Committees of Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, and Lam Dong provinces. This effort is a significant step towards preserving the memory of war and fulfilling the long-standing wishes of the families of the fallen.
