Former Monk Sentenced to 18 Months for Inciting Social Chaos

A Phnom Penh court has sentenced former monk Chea Vutthy, 27, to 18 months in prison and a fine of 2 million riels (approximately $500) for inciting social chaos through social media. He was accused of severely criticizing national leaders online, intending to disrupt national security.
