Landslide Damages Thai School Buildings, Restoration Underway

A landslide in Nan province, northern Thailand, has resulted in damage to school buildings. According to MGR Online (Regional), the landslide occurred in the Doi Thawang Pha area, causing cracks to appear in the buildings of Ban Doi Thiew School. Currently, the cafeteria, cooperative building, and kindergarten block are among the affected structures that have been closed. Local authorities have temporarily suspended the use of these facilities until their safety can be confirmed, prioritizing the well-being of residents. Restoration efforts have already commenced with the aim of resuming normal school operations as soon as possible.
