Dak Lak Border Guards Conduct Diverse Activities to Engage Local Communities

The Border Guard Command of Dak Lak Province, located in Vietnam's Central Highlands, conducted a series of diverse activities from September 12-13 to strengthen engagement with residents in border areas. These initiatives focused on promoting legal compliance, encouraging environmental protection, and enhancing the welfare of children within the local communities. Specifically, propaganda and awareness campaigns were organized to disseminate legal knowledge and foster environmental conservation awareness through interaction with residents. The Border Guard also places emphasis on nurturing the next generation, notably by honoring 296 outstanding students for their academic achievements. Furthermore, efforts to deepen community ties include the deployment of a Cambodian language learning support model and activities expressing gratitude to families of revolutionary contributors. Concurrently, maintaining border security is a critical task, with the Border Guard also undertaking law enforcement operations such as cracking down on illegal drug use organizations. These endeavors are considered to contribute to the stability and development of the border region in Dak Lak Province.
