Singer Đăng Khôi to Showcase Vietnamese Culture on Chinese Music Show

Vietnamese singer Đăng Khôi is set to participate in the international music program "Silk Way Star 2026," which will be filmed in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, China. Khôi is among the 12 vocalists in the show, alongside contestants from Kazakhstan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Turkey, South Africa, Russia, Serbia, Brazil, New Zealand, and host country China. Khôi expressed his desire to introduce the beauty of his homeland through the program. He and his team have dedicated significant time to research and practice, investing carefully in every performance aspect, from music and choreography to stage visuals, aiming to deliver polished and emotionally resonant performances. At the program's launch event on August 19, the 12 singers were present and performed the theme song "Tiếng hát dưới bầu trời sao" (Singing Under the Starry Sky), according to Sina. In a promotional video introducing the contestants, Khôi appeared alongside Hi Lâm Na Y Cao from China, A Mộc Sa from Malaysia, and Lucia from Kazakhstan.
